Yin practice focuses on postures that lengthen the muscles surrounding the hips, pelvis, and lower back. Postures are held with support for 3-5 minutes per side to lengthen and stimulate connective tissue that surrounds the joints. The elasticity of our connective tissue diminishes with physical activity and aging, making Yin essential for injury prevention and joint health. It is the perfect practice to bring you to a meditative physical and mental state. The class will conclude with seated meditation.
